PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP - We need your help to shape the way health services are delivered to your practice.

The NHS belongs to the people and a national NHS campaign is being undertaken to encourage and increase the engagement of local people in the planning and delivery of health care.

The practice is keen to support this initiative and is wishes to form a patient reference group.  We are looking to establish a group that represents a wide cross section of our patients whether they are regular users of health services or simply have a desire to see local health services improve.

What is a Patient Participation Group?

A means by which the views and opinions of local people can be heard to

  • Improve communications
  • Ensure that services meet the needs of all patients

What does it involve

  • Being approached from time to time to give views and comments on proposed changes to the planning and delivery of services
  • Being kept informed about local health service issues.

If you are interested

Contact the practice by email: or pop into the surgery and complete a form at reception.   You can also contact the Patient Participation Group directly addressed to Helen  at or 822991 to hear more about the Group or joining the Steering Committee.
