Patient....DoctorLink
PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP (PPG)
WHO WE ARE
The Rudgwick Medical Centre PPG was reformed in 2023 to provide a link between the Practice and patients after Covid.
We are all volunteers and patients of the Medical Centre and work as a committee
Co-chaired by Jill Power and Barbara Kenward.
WHAT ARE OUR AIMS
- promoting good relations between the Practice and patients
- giving patients information on how they can access medical treatments and services and enabling them to take some responsibility for their own health
- keeping patients informed of changes in medical practice
- to find ways of keeping patients who do not have access to the internet and social media informed and included
WHAT WE DO
We hold regular meetings with the Practice and Deputy Practice Managers to discuss matters raised by patients and changes at the Medical Centre and within the NHS.
We attend meetings with the other West Sussex PPGs and the Primary Care Network to keep up to date with what is happening locally with our health services.
We are publishing a series of articles in the Rudgwick Magazine to give patients a better understanding of the health care system and how to access the best possible services.
Quarterly newsletters will keep you in touch with any developments, which may affect you, at the Medical Centre and within the NHS and inform you of services that are available to meet your medical needs. To receive your copy and updates on medical services please make sure that Rudgwick Medical Centre has your contact details by completing the form on the website.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
If you have any feedback about your experience of the Medical Centre or any suggestions or comments for improved services please contact us by email at rudgwickppg22@gmail.com and we will raise them at our meetings with the Medical Staff. All matters are discussed in confidence.
We cannot deal with any issues concerning personal medical treatment and they should be directed to the Practice Manager or Deputy Practice Manager at Rudgwick Medical Centre.

This is a closed group for RMC patients only. If you were a member of the old group, you will need to rejoin this new group. The aim of the group is to continue to deliver the PPG's message and support more patients in a more interactive way. Feedback will be shared with the PM and DPM during the regular meetings.
